The Facilities team provides support services to the HGSE community through maintenance, custodial services, mail services, provides office keys, and maintains office temperature.

The Planning + Design team manages manages all projects related to office moves and office improvements, such as furniture and space inquiries, in addition to ergonomic evaluation.

A hands-on makerspace for designing and tinkering, giving the HGSE community a chance to invent and experiment with new kinds of technologies.

Provides oversight for the development and implementation of all construction projects on campus, ranging from energy and infrastructure upgrades to full-scale capital improvements.

HGSE Operations manages building safety, while HUPD maintains 24/7 campus policing. For immediate security assistance or building access questions during operating hours, community members can contact the HGSE security desk at 617-495-3499.

HGSE is committed to providing and maintaining a safe, compliant, and healthy campus for its employees, students, staff, and the community it serves. We partner with the Environmental Health and Safety Department (EH&S) where dedicated technical, operational, and managerial support is needed.
